From Service to Startup
After years of military service, our founder came home to a cat with a scratching problem and a furniture budget that couldn't keep up. Every scratcher on the market was the same: sisal rope, cardboard, or carpet — all designed to be shredded, not to actually help.
The idea was simple: what if a scratch pad could do more than just take the hit? What if it could condition your cat's claws the same way a nail file conditions human nails — gently, naturally, and effectively?
That question led to years of research, prototyping, and collaboration with veterinary professionals. The result was the SkiRatchPad — a patented micro-knife surface that files and shapes claws with every scratch, reducing sharpness without ever harming your cat.
